About
Alastair studied drawing and painting at Edinburgh College of Art working with mixed-media, including printmaking. After a postgraduate diploma he became heavily involved in printmaking. Since 1992 he has worked at Edinburgh Printmakers, in many roles including Studio Director, Lithography Technician and now as the Head of Editions. Within this busy studio, his position often involves working collaboratively with other artists, assisting each in the generation of their image, and editioning their work as part of the Edinburgh Printmakers print publishing programme. In 1995 he attended the Tamarind Institute of Lithography, Summer Workshop, New Mexico.
